It's Cake Cometition Time!
I was so excited and flattered to receive an email asking me to enter an upcoming cake competition! I entered it last year on my own, and to my shock won the entire amateur wedding cake division with this cake. I could not believe it, what with all of the really talented work that was there. Who knew there were so many talented people here? I have no idea what am going to do, but I better get going with it, because I only have a month and a half to do something. I can enter up to three things........so we will see. YIKES!

This cake looks AMAZING! The roses look so perfect and life-like. The petals look paper thin so they must have been hard to work with.

ReplyDeleteThe paste can get tricky if you let it get too dry, or you use too much liquid to glue them. They are so calming to make though.
