This was for the 30th anniversary of a local youth swim team. They are called the Gators and so I was asked to make an alligtor for them. I had a fun time sculpting him and modeling the fondant to look like his scales. I learned several things making this cake, one of them being that I need an airbrush! I had to paint him by hand. This was a big cake and I had to get someone to help me deliver him. He was sitting on a 20x30 board and his tail was hanging over the side a little bit. I hope the kids enjoyed him.
