Busy Busy

Sorry I have not posted, but I got behind with the holidays, and I am working on a wedding cake for this weekend, and my mother is staying with us for a little while after a fall.  But, I should have a pretty cake to post in a few days!

Here are some of the little detail pieces I did for the retirement cake last month.  I had lots of fun making these little guys.

Sunny Cuppy

Here are some cupcakes I did for a very sweet lady that is moving away.  Her co-workers where having a send off party for her.  I got the idea from one of my favorite cupcake ladies, Hello Naomi, and then I mixed it up a little.  The cupcakes are white cake with buttercream icing, and then the overlays are made out of fondant.  I can create just about anything you like to go on the tops.

My First Book

Errr, well, um, sort of.  My friend took some professional photographs for me and he made some of them into a book for me.  Here is a look inside........

The Horrible Terrible Photo

Okay this cake was really cute in person.........but this is what happens when you forget to take a picture of the cake and end up having to take a picture of it in the dark, with your phone. Oh well, the birthday girl liked it, and that's all that counts.
